Colorado Springs police are asking for help finding a group of attempted car thieves. Shortly after 1 p.m. June 14, a dark-colored Toyota 4Runner - an '03 to '09 model with silver-colored wheels and a tail fin on the top of the tailgate - was seen traveling on Confederate Ridge Drive in northeast Colorado Springs, police said. Male passengers ran up to cars to see if they were unlocked, entering unlocked cars and eventually stealing a garage door remote from one of the cars, police said.
