A 38-foot-tall bronze sculpture is back to downtown Indianapolis to resume its perch atop the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. Crews brought the 117-year-old Victory sculpture of a woman with a torch in one hand and a sword in the other to Monument Circle this morning. It was taken down in April for restoration work repairing damage from decades of weather exposure and water infiltration.
