Vehicle Gets Stuck In Fountain Creek After Crash

Police are working to pull a car out of a creek after a driver went off the road early Saturday. The crash happened a little after 7 a.m. on Highway 24 just east of 21st Street. The driver ended up down an embankment into Fountain Creek and surrounding brush. Police say he or she was able to call officers themselves after crashing. Because of where the car landed, a police lieutenant 11 News spoke with says it will take time to get it out. Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette
