A pickup fire caused traffic to back up Wednesday afternoon along West Interstate 40 near the Carson County line, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers said. No injuries were reported. About 12:45 a.m., a Ford F-350 hauling a travel-trailer caught fire and the driver pulled over to the side of the highway and tried to extinguish the blaze, authorities said.
