Utility Pole Fire Causes Outage In Thousand Oaks

A power outage was reported in an area where crews were investigating a transformer fire Wednesday in Thousand Oaks.The fire was reported at 7:14 p.m. in the 1300 block of Newbury Road.Crews on scene said power was out in the area. At 7:27 p.m. crews reported a small amount of fire was found on a utility pole.Southern California Edison reported a power outage at 7:04 p.m.
