Ut: Educated Workers Behind Ut's $1.6b Impact

KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, has a $1.6 billion impact on the state and that should be a positive sign to state leaders, said Chancellor Jimmy Cheek. UT’s Center for Business and Economic Research released a new study showing the campus had a $1.6 billion impact on the state economy during the 2013-2014 academic year.
