The Department of Justice has filed to seize millions worth of cryptocurrency in connection with Sam Bankman-Fried, ex-CEO of the FTX crypto exchange. The complaint, which was filed on Tuesday (Nov. 12), seeks to take possession of more than $17.9 million of crypto in a Binance account. Binance is the world’s largest crypto exchange company. The DOJ says the account is linked to Bankman-Fried (also known as his initials SBF) allegedly bribing Chinese officials in December 2023.
