A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal Sunday stabbing in Denver left one man dead, police said. Patrick Browne was arrested Sunday on suspicion of first-degree murder and felony menacing, the Denver Police Department said in a statement on social media. Police said the stabbing — which happened near South Lipan Street and West Evans Avenue around 11:30 a.m.

More than a decade ago in Los Angeles, hundreds of people protested in the streets after police killed a man in a controversial shooting.
