Colorado election officials must recount more than 40,000 ballots cast in El Paso County’s House District 16 as Republican Rebecca Keltie holds a six-vote lead over incumbent Democratic Rep. Stephanie Vigil.
The recount, already a certainty in the razor-thin race, was made official in an order from Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold on Monday night.
El Paso County must re-scan all ballots counted during the initial tabulation and the recount must be done by Dec.

NEW YORK (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump threatened on Monday to impose sweeping new tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China as soon as he takes office as part of his effort to crack down on illegal immigration and drugs. He said he would impose a 25% tax on all products entering the country from Canada and Mexico, and an additional 10% tariff on goods from China, as one of his first executive orders.
The tariffs, if implemented, could dramatically raise prices for American consumers on everything from gas to automobiles to agricultural products.
Donald Trump has officially avoided prosecution for both his federal classified documents case and his January 6th election interference cases, both being prosecuted by Special Counsel Jack Smith. Monday afternoon, Smith filed motions in both cases to dismiss them. And by the afternoon, the motion in the DC case was already granted (without prejudice).
It would be easy to blame Merrick Garland for this absolute betrayal of justice due to his years long delay in even appointing a Special Counsel, but really the blame lies with the corrupt Supreme Court, Leonard Leo (for his part in corrupting our judicial system) and for Judge Cannon in Florida.

Parents, teachers, and other critics of Christian nationalism were outraged by a Texas board's Friday vote to approve a "Bible-infused" curriculum for elementary school students—part of a broader right-wing push to force Christianity into public education.
"They chose politics over what's best for students, promoting an evangelical Christian religious perspective and undermining the freedom of families to direct the religious education of their own children," declared the Texas Freedom Network, accusing the State Board of Education (SBOE) of ignoring warnings from religious studies experts, national media attention, and overwhelming negative feedback from the people they're elected to serve."

On Fox News, Trump Senior campaign advisor Tim Murtaugh claimed that now people aren't afraid to celebrate Christmas since Trump was just elected.
Fox News host John Roberts cited decided an article Murtaugh wrote for the Washington Times where he warns companies to shut up, and either sell, or entertain us and be done with diversity.
The flood of GOP MAGA propaganda has begun and it's already ridiculous even before the Thanksgiving day holiday.
Did you know President Biden canceled Christmas these last four years?
