URBANA — The city council is set to vote on a new three-year contract with police officers that includes raises. Under the terms of the new agreement, which is retroactive to July 2017 and runs until July 2020, all union police officers would see a 2 percent pay increase in each year, with sergeants getting an additional $1,000 each year. read more
