Updated: Ny To Get $1.5 Billion Loan From Feds For Tappan Zee

The state is poised to get a $1.5 billion loan from the federal government to help fund the $3.9 billion Tappan Zee Bridge project, state officials announced Friday. 'This is another important step forward for the new NY bridge project, one that will help keep tolls affordable for motorists,' Governor Andrew Cuomo said in a statement.
