An Albuquerque police officer and his wife have been arrested on suspicion of child abuse, according to New Mexico State Police. Skyler McClaskey, 31, and Jodi McClaskey, 34, of Tijeras were booked into jail Saturday morning. She said he is on paid administrative leave, but that could change if he is indicted on the child abuse charge. Espinoza also said the officer had a warrant for issuing worthless checks.
