UPDATE: We've reached out to Fox who have confirmed that this rumor is NOT true and that they've always had the X-Men TV rights. Debunked! Yesterday it was announced that Marvel and Fox had reached a deal that will allow Fox to create two television series set in the X-Men world, and according to Den of Geek, Marvel may have gotten something in exchange: the FANTASTIC FOUR film rights.
