IOWA CITY — The University of Iowa’s nationally-ranked All-American heavyweight wrestler Sam Stoll is recovering from a gunshot wound to the knee after an accidental shooting at an Iowa City residence early Tuesday. Officers responded to UI Hospitals and Clinics at 4:37 a.m. on a report of a gunshot victim, and a preliminary investigation revealed several people were at a home on Valley Avenue when someone discharged a firearm.
