United Way of Metropolitan Dallas announced Thursday that its contributions for 2014-15 reached a record $72 million. It's the fifth year in a row United Way has set a record. The agency also said that it surpassed its five-year goal by raising more than $300 million. Money raised by the agency support its efforts to reach the 10-year community goals of: Prepare at least 60 percent of all high school graduates to succeed in education after high school Move 250,000 more people out of poverty…
