At its annual dinner Tuesday, United Way of Greater McHenry County recognized Woodstock School District 200 and human resources director Teresa Dailey for the significant payroll contributions employees have made to the nonprofit. United Way Marketing Director Heather Arnold and Executive Director Carole Peters presented Dailey and District 200 with the agency’s inaugural Blackboard Award, which honors the school district whose employees donate the most to United Way’s annual campaign. This year, District 200 employees raised more than $15,000 for United Way, with an average contribution of $180 for each employee. Arnold said Dailey’s successful efforts have inspired United Way to deepen its relationships with other area school districts, where it hopes to repeat the success it has had with Woodstock school employees. “Teresa was one of the few people running an active campaign within a school district,” Arnold said.
