Uefa Charges Bayern For 2 Fan Incidents At Real Madrid Game

NYON, Switzerland (AP) — UEFA has charged Bayern Munich for two fan incidents during the team's Champions League loss to Real Madrid. UEFA says its disciplinary panel will study an "illicit" anti-UEFA banner displayed at Wednesday's game in Munich, and a "field invasion" by fans after Madrid's 2-1 win in the first leg of the semifinals. The case will be judged on May 31, five days after the final. Bayern fans have repeatedly used Champions League games in recent seasons to display banners critical of UEFA, financial issues in football, and high ticket prices charged by other clubs.
