At 4:40 p.m. Friday, UCHealth Memorial Hospital issued a statement that the hospital had received "three patients from the active-shooter situation near Centennial Boulevard and Fillmore Street, and we are prepared to care for additional patients if necessary." The statement continued: "Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department and ICU are fully prepared for this emergency, and we have called in additional staff to care for patients.
