By jakob rodgers jakob.rodgers@gazette.com -University of Colorado Health, the nonprofit statewide hospital system operating Memorial Hospital, announced a partnership Tuesday with a chain running a dozen for-profit freestanding emergency rooms across Colorado.The hospital system "will hold a majority stake" in freestanding emergency rooms operated by Texas-based Adeptus Health, according to a news release sent by UCHealth.Under the partnership, Adeptus-owned First Choice Emergency Room locations in Colorado will be renamed UCHealth ER, the release said.
