Following the departure of starter Nikai Martinez (54 tackles, 3 INTs), the staff swiftly shifted to maintaining a solid defensive back trio of Demari Henderson (45 tackles, 3 INTs), Quadric Bullard (34 tackles, 3 pass breakups) and Braeden Marshall (22 tackles, INT). Transfers Bryon Threats, Deshawn Pace and Ladarius Tennison provided an early boost to the group in the spring, followed by the addition of Sheldon Arnold, Tre’Quon Fegans and Cedrick Hawkins after camp.
