An Amarillo woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle accident at South Bell and the I-27 frontage road early Sunday. Amarillo police were called to the scene of the accident at 5:43 a.m. Sunday. A 1999 Honda motorcycle driven by an 18-year-old man described by police as a white male failed to make a turn on the southbound frontage road of I-27. Police said the driver failed to control his speed and struck a curb, ejecting both himself and his passenger, described as a 19-year-old white female. read more
