Two recent deaths suspected of being drug overdoses led to the arrest of two men Monday night in Lewiston on heroin and cocaine trafficking charges. Vincent Steed, 34, of Lewiston and Devin Webbert, 30, of the Bronx, New York, were arrested by officers of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency after a search of an apartment on Lincoln Street, said Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety. The agents and Lewiston police found 53 packets of heroin, 72 bags of crack cocaine, scales, packaging material and more than $1,500 in suspected drug proceeds, McCausland said.
