Two people were transported to a local hospital after a Tuesday morning wreck in southwest Amarillo. About 6 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of South Bell Street and Hillside Road. Police said a blue Pontiac G6 was traveling west on Hillside and disregarded a red light to turn left at Bell. As the traffic light turned green for eastbound traffic, a 2013 Jeep and a 2011 GMC truck began traveling east and the Pontiac hit both vehicles. read more
