BOLIVIA – Two men were in custody Monday, each charged in separate sexual assaults over the weekend. Brandon Lamar Stevenson, 27, of Bolivia, is charged with two counts of second-degree rape. The victim is a 28-year-old woman, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. Stevenson's bail is set at $1 million. Theodore Pollard, 22, of Wilmington, is charged with indecent liberties with a child and two counts of statutory rape, the charging document shows. The victim is a 14-year-old girl, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. Pollard's bail is set at $200,000. Both incidents and arrests happened Sunday. -- F.T.
