Lionsgate has plans to continue "The Twilight Saga" with 'The Storytellers - New Creative Voices of The Twilight Saga', a series of short films to be directed by at least five aspiring female filmmakers. Author Stephenie Meyer is teaming with Women In Film, Facebook and crowdsourcing platform Tongal on a social media campaign to develop and produce the shorts which will include films based on a broad spectrum of characters from the "Twilight" universe. Meyer's "The Twilight Saga: Official Illustrated Guide" will offer guidance for the filmmakers to direct the shorts which will be financed through production advances.
