LAS VEGAS (AP) — Television news outlets can film two teenage defendants charged as adults in a Las Vegas murder trial. KSNV-TV reported (http://bit.ly/21surge) Friday that a Las Vegas judge will continue allowing TV cameras in the courtroom. Defense attorneys for 17-year-old Zachary Agnew and 16-year-old Jason Lloyd Carlton II submitted an objection to KSNV-TV and other stations showing the teens' faces and naming them. Judge Eric Goodman says both are no longer in the juvenile court system. The Associated Press is identifying them because the judge determined they will be prosecuted as adults. They and a third adult suspect are facing murder charges in the April stabbing death of 27-year-old Clinton Englehart near a park. Police say the victim was mortally wounded in a scuffle at a business near Desert Breeze Park. ___ Information from: KSNV-TV, http://www.mynews3.com/index.phpRead more on NewsOK.com
