Less than an hour after former Mexican President Vicente Fox appeared on TV to denounce Donald Trump's visit to Mexico on Wednesday, the Republican nominee sought to remind the world that Fox had also offered him an invitation to travel south of the border earlier this year."Former President Vicente Fox, who is railing against my visit to Mexico today, also invited me when he apologized for using the 'f bomb,'" Trump tweeted Wednesday morning ahead of his meeting with President Enrique Peña Nieto, after Fox took to CNN and apologized on behalf of the country for the invitation.Fox himself apologized to Trump earlier this year after declaring that his country would not pay for the "f----ing wall" that has been central to the businessman's national security and immigration proposals, inviting him in a Breitbart News interview "to come to Mexico and to see what Mexico is all about.”Trump reciprocated the remarks by inviting Fox to lunch in New York, which the former president said he would only accept if Trump apologized for his comments about Mexicans in the U.S.
