Trump’s Top Legislative Aide Will Leave

Legislative affairs director Marc Short will leave the job as early as this summer, lamenting to colleagues the “diminishing returns” of pushing President Trump’s agenda through the Republican-controlled Congress as the midterm elections approach, the Wall Street Journal reports. When the Journal asked Short for comment, he replied: “There are so many leaks in this building.”
