Yes, "I Found You" was a noticeably better episode than the premiere - even if only because it felt like it had an actual ending and not just a weird scene where Sookie pleaded with everyone not to hate her. Oh, and please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks it's hilarious that her impassioned speech in the church in last week's episode did absolutely nothing.

Even though the books do explain this to some extent, even Charlaine Harris admits that she doesn't have explanations for everything, particularly how the whole blood bond thing works (it's more complicated in the books). Basically, continuity/making some semblance of sense are not characteristics of the True Blood universe.

Anyway, True Blood does the same thing with Sookie. Everyone's saying that word all the time. My hope is that some big boss will come along in Season 5 and turn her into a toad in episode one. Then she can be on Bill's desk for the rest of the series. Once in a while she'll say RIBBIT. And it will sound like REDDIT.

True Blood easily The better competition is between True Blood and The Originals. Depending on the specific season, either one beats out the other. I think TO tells a better story, but True Blood has a better atmosphere and style. True Blood's connection to culture and it's mature, edgy, southern gothic identity gives it an edge and uniqueness.

I think True Blood is the best vampire show and it’s so beautifully made and the casting is soooo good! And it’s for us adults too!!! Which I love so much and wish there would come new vampire tv shows that’s not high school related. But ofc my only hate for this show is Bill’s casting.
