A tropical storm warning has been issued from Northeast Florida to South Carolina ahead of the landfall of what is expected to become Hurricane Hermine as the storm moves toward Florida Thursday. The storm was moving north-northeast at 12 mph with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph at 5 a.m., according to the National Hurricane Center. Hermine was 250 miles south-southwest of Apalachicola early Thursday and expected to hit the coast late in the day or early Friday. read more
