Trial Date Set For Douglas Bruce Over Possible Parole Violations

By megan schrader megan.schrader@gazette.com -Douglas Bruce, the Colorado Springs author of the Taxpayer's Bill of Rights, appeared in Denver court Friday morning for possible parole violations and a trial was set for July 13. Bruce was convicted in 2012 for tax evasion, filing a false tax return and trying to influence a public servant.
