Orlando and all of Orange County and Central Florida are in the forecast cone for Hurricane Milton, which expected to form in the Gulf of Mexico and rapidly intensify on a track toward Florida sometime around Wednesday. As of Sunday morning, the exact track and intensity at landfall remains very uncertain — ranging from Category 1 to Category 5 — and forecasters warned residents to have their hurricane survival plans in motion and to prepare for the worst. The storm is forecast to still be at hurricane strength after making landfall and moving over the Central Florida region.
