Stories Related to Toxic Firefighting Foam Accidentally Discharged At Selfridge

An unknown amount of toxic firefighting foam was accidentally discharged this week in a building on the grounds of Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township.The discharge, which authorities believe happened earlier this week, was discovered about 10 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release issued by the 127th Wing Public Affairs unit at Selfridge.
