At the request of residents, the Board of Selectmen voted last week to give the street a secondary name in honor of Christopher Blackwell, the New York City firefighter who died in the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Air Force Staff Sgt. Todd "T.J." Blackwell, the New Fairfield High School graduate killed in Afghanistan in September.
