Numerous new charges have been filed against Fabian Torres, of Sleepy Hollow, after several altercations with Kane County corrections staff in September. Some of these led to minor injuries to officers. Torres was charged with multiple counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer, as well as several counts of resisting a police and peace officer. Torres, 32, has been in custody since April 9 on several charges stemming from the stabbing and sexual assault of a 19-year-old woman and the stabbing of her brother during a home invasion in Sleepy Hollow. The Kane County corrections staff turned Torres over to the Illinois Department of Corrections’ custody Sept.
