Former Wisconsin state Senate Majority Leader Dale Schultz (R) announced that he was endorsing Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz in the November election, Civic Media reports.
“Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) is expected to jump into the race for NRSC chair for the 2026 cycle,” Punchbowl News reports.
“Scott, who’s in line to chair the Senate Banking Committee next year if Republicans win the majority, was making calls to GOP senators over the weekend expressing his interest in the job.”
While the polls show an incredibly tight race, a new Doug Sosnik memo suggests Kamala Harris has more upside in the final 22 days of the election than Donald Trump does.

“Vice President Kamala Harris has agreed to an interview with Fox News,” the New York Times reports.
“The interview, with Fox News’s chief political anchor, Bret Baier, will take place near Philadelphia on Wednesday, shortly before it airs at 6 p.m. Eastern on Mr. Baier’s program, ‘Special Report.’ Ms. Harris is expected to sit for 25 to 30 minutes of questions, the network said.”
