Here's to the members suggesting that new manager Suzanne Koenig do her job and leave the public discussion at public meetings of a public nursing home run with public dollars to them. The new management company running the Champaign County Nursing Home made a lot of things clear last week. The managers say they intend to cut costs, build up quality of care as well as the facility's weak census, improve its chronically poor food service and, said Suzanne Koenig, they do not want to hear discouraging words uttered about the nursing home. read more
