Toddler Sexual Assault Gets Stamford Man 10 Years In Jail

Douglas Hus-Flores pleaded guilty Monday to felony charges of first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child before Judge Gary White. Ornousky pressed for the 10-year mandatory minimum jail sentence on the first-degree sexual assault charge as a way to allow Hus-Flores to plead guilty and keep the child from having to testify in the case. The girl's mother returned home from soccer practice that night and while crying the girl told her mother Hus-Flores touched her, according to the report.
