The Florida Times-Union will be opposing a motion that would prohibit the release of public court documents in the Donald James Smith murder case. Smith is accused of first-degree murder, kidnapping and sexual battery in the abduction and strangulation of 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle on June 21.
