Threatening Message Sparks Bomb Scare At Stamford School

STAMFORD — A threatening message scribbled on a bathroom door sparked a bomb scare Wednesday at Scofield Magnet Middle School. Sgt. Simon Blanc said Principal Clayton Scott called police just before 7 a.m. to report the threat found by the janitor. “I’m going to bomb this (expletive),” was written on the back of the door, according to Blanc. Blanc said K-9 Doby with his handler, Officer Lou Scarano, searched the school but nothing suspicious was found. Blanc said the person who wrote the message has not been identified. jnickerson@stamfordadvocate.com;
