Jake’s Diner is taking reservations for its annual Thanksgiving meal for seniors, which provides a warm meal and entertainment to any senior who does not have family nearby and may otherwise miss out on the holiday celebration.Relying on help from the Central Oregon Council on Aging and an army of volunteers, the diner’s staff will serve a Thanksgiving meal to seniors in need every hour on the hour from noon until 5 p.m.
