Proposals to eliminate tenure across Iowa’s public universities might be dead for this legislative session, but that doesn’t mean the esteemed academic appointment is alive and well across the state’s institutions.A new Board of Regents report made public last week shows the combined tally of tenured and tenure-track professors at the University of Iowa, Iowa State University and the University of Northern Iowa is dropping.
