A 19-year-old woman who pleaded guilty to driving drunk and causing a crash that killed her 16-year-old brother will be sentenced today. Erin Lanosga was arrested in May on suspicion of vehicular homicide, driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving resulting in death and underage possession of alcohol. In August, she pleaded guilty to an amended version of the charges. In today's sentencing, she faces two to six years in the Colorado Department of Corrections and three years of mandatory probation and fines ranging from $2,000 to $500,000. Lanosga was driving a GMC pickup on May 20 in Garden of the Gods when the vehicle rolled several times and came to rest on top of her 16-year-old brother Ryan Lanosga.
