Teen Christmas Brings Hope

For two Amarillo teenage girls, a $75 shopping spree would be a far-fetched item to write on their Christmas wish lists. The pair live with their single mother, who battles an ongoing kidney disease. Although their mother works two jobs, the family struggles to afford much more than the essentials. At Christmas, one gift is considered an abundance. But for the past two years Tatiyanna and Tahnia Wilson have wandered the racks at Amarillo’s mall, using vouchers to purchase clothes and shoes at Christmas. read more
