Teen And Juveniles Caught Joyriding Stolen Car In Stamford

On Saturday at 8 p.m., police were called to Springdale parking lot off Camp Avenue on the report of a strange car without a front license plate that did not belong there. After walking up to the car as the driver of the vehicle rolled down his window, “a blast of burnt marijuana smoke hit my face,” Officer Christopher Petrizzi said in his police report. Gonzalez, of Madison Avenue, Bridgeport, was charged with first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, criminal trespass, sixth-degree larceny and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
