By ALEX BRANCH A bolt of lightning stole not only the lives of Taylor Lawson and her unborn baby but also her wish to donate her organs. The organs couldn’t be harvested because they were too badly damaged by the lightning strike Aug. 27 in a Bedford neighborhood. Some students at Tarrant County College read a Star-Telegram report about her death and how the 19-year-old had told her family that she wished everyone was a donor. The students are doing their part to make it happen. The local chapter of the International Honor Society in Education will team with the nonprofit LifeGift to host an organ donation drive in Lawson’s name during Oktoberfest at the college’s Northeast Campus. The drive will be held from 9 a.m.
