Eugene police are investigating a Thursday evening accident in which a man on a motorized wheelchair was struck by a car on 30th Avenue. The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. near the intersection with University Street.

OAKRIDGE — A 10-vehicle pile-up closed Willamette Pass for four hours Thursday night on Highway 58 east of Oakridge. Oregon State Police say it started when a tractor-trailer truck stalled in the snow. Two other trucks lost traction and slid into the stalled truck.
