Shopper accuses Southfield Target store of racial profiling

Attorneys for an African-American Southfield woman say a Target store racially profiled and falsely accused her of stealing a bikini, then forced her to expose her body to male security guards.According to a report in the Detroit Free Press, attorneys Jasmine Rand and Maurice Davis say Ashanae Davis, 20, was accused last month of stealing from the Target store on Southfield Road in Southfield .

 

Rochester Hills Public Library announces new youth services manager

The Rochester Hills Public Library has appointed Betsy Raczowski as youth services manager. Raczowski most recently served as a youth services librarian for RHPL.
