Judge approves hiring of financial accounting expert in $3 million embezzlement case

A Forsyth County judge approved hiring a forensic accountant to aid the defense of two people accused of embezzling $3 million from a Winston-Salem businessman.

Death certificate: Winston-Salem man shot in torso and arm

A Winston-Salem man fatally shot by a police officer in March had gunshot wounds to his torso and one of his arms, according to his death certificate.
