Two air conditioning units stripped of copper

PEORIA — Two air conditioning units at a construction company office were stripped of copper and aluminum parts worth $8,000 last weekend.An employee at Allied Construction Services at 2300 SW Adams St. reported two damaged Goodman brand air conditioners on the southwest side of the building in a fenced area. The employee said the air conditioners were damaged sometime between 10 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Monday, when the business was closed.
